Signing in creates a provider called InkSpoke automatically. It needs no API key — requests go through our platform, which forwards them to the underlying model vendor. It is the fastest way to get good accuracy without configuring anything.

This provider cannot be deleted, and its model list is fetched from the server rather than typed in. If a model disappears, it was retired centrally — the app will suggest a replacement.
The trial
New accounts get a one-time allowance of 30 minutes of cloud audio so you can judge the quality before paying. When it runs out, the account reverts to the free plan — nothing breaks, but cloud transcription stops.

What this means for privacy
Using the built-in provider means your audio and text are sent to our platform and on to the model vendor for that request. If that is not acceptable for some of your work, put an on-device model on the workspaces that matter. What stays on your device covers the boundary in full.
